An economical alternative to other costly molding processes, urethane molding provides cost effective solutions for the medical, electronic, automotive, toy, and food service industries. The urethane molding process is innovative, enabling us to replicate complex shapes, fine details, textures, and colors. MCP Vacuum Casting Resins can be formulated to various durometers and heat resistance, and can simulate most plastics and resins. As a result, the urethane molding process reduces turnaround time and provides a high degree of accuracy and consistency of quality.

To reduce the costs involved in product development projects, Astro Manufacturing and Design’s urethane molding system uses an automated vacuum casting process that produces high-quality, dimensionally stable, urethane prototypes. These cost-effectively produced parts can easily tolerate the rigors of pre-market testing and evaluation.
