To keep up with the ever-changing demands of our customers, our Fabricating Division has purchased a new water jet machine.This abrasive waterjet has a work envelope of 72" x 144" and its versatility can cut virtually any material, including metals, composites, and stones, with a cutting accuracy of +/- 0.003 ranging in thicknesses of 1/8 " to 3".

Water jet cutting is unique in that it makes use of abrasive substances to facilitate water erosion, a process that is typically useful for materials that are sensitive to high temperatures and other machining methods. But water jets are capable of much more: Because the water jet cutting stream can easily be modified to suit the application, a water jet machine can execute water jet cutting, water jet shaping, water jet carving, water jet reaming, and other related processes.
