Our complete heavy fabrication capabilities include metal forming, shearing, laser cutting and welding services. We combine quality and experience to provide virtually any size heavy fabrication project, from prototype to production runs, ranging from small weldmentsto heavy plate fabrications, structural assemblies, and heavy-duty frame construction. Sheet Metal Fabricating

Astro's extensive in-house capabilities allow us to offer you exceptional service in sheet metal fabricating as well. If your project requires lighter gage material, Astro can perform all phases of forming, punching and welding - from light gauge work of 0.005" material thickness to 3/16" plate and frame construction. We also can provide high quality deburring, shearing, metal finishing, and sheet metal assembly services

Welding

Our welding department consists of more than 20 welding stations, giving us the flexibility to perform both short and medium production runs. And our experienced welders can successfully complete applications ranging from close tolerance work requiring extensive fixturing to heavy weldments requiring multi-passes.

Laser Cutting

Using our advanced laser cutting equipment, we can fabricate high quality parts in a fraction of the time required by conventional cutting processes. Astro's fabricators can quickly and accurately cut metallic, non-metallic and synthetic materials ranging in size from thin foil stock to ¾" plate. The result: your costs and our turnaround times are dramatically reduced.
