		Medical/Bio-Medical Astro is deeply involved in the production of components and assemblies for the medical and bio-medical industries. In addition to our division dedicated to implantables, we produce collimator components used in cancer treatment systems, complete surgical simulator systems, complete patient support couches for CT scanners systems, complete collimators for CT scanner systems, PET scanner components, MRI patient support couches and Nuclear Medicine system components. We also perform cosmetic refurbishment of medical system components, including CT scanner gantries. Our customers for these products include internationally known medical corporations.




		Implantable Medical Devices Astro has a dedicated manufacturing facility for the production of orthopedic implantables used in neck and spine surgery. We have also produced components for use in the development of artificial human hearts.




		Aerospace and Military Astro produces aerospace and military components for some of the larger companies in the United States, including NASA.. Production includes aircraft generator housings, aircraft wheel and brake components, aircraft starter housings, specialized aircraft drive system shafts and components, missile components, torpedo components and even parts destined for International Space Station applications.




		Automotive Although Astro does not produce parts used in automobiles, a large portion of our business is dedicated to the production of specialized tooling and equipment used by the automobile industry. This includes the production of specialized automation and test systems used in the manufacturing of vehicle components.




		Telecommunications Telecomm projects have been coming into Astro in increasing numbers over the years. We've recently prototyped and performed full production runs of sheet metal rack systems, copper coils, cabinets and switching mechanisms for large telecomm corporations.




		Consumer Specialized Products Astro offers a variety of manufacturing services used by many consumer industries. We produce components and/or build systems used for material handling, bottling, packaging and transporting materials and product.
