New CNC equipment and upgrades are continually being added to Astro Manufacturing & Design expanding CNC Milling department. We have over 22 machining centers, that can produce parts with dimensions as large as 30" x 84" x 20" high.
To produce high volume, precision parts with a single set-up, most of our high tech machining centers are equipped with a fourth axis turntable. This creative fixturing is also used with air actuated clamping systems to speed part load and unload and reduce the number of set-ups on many production jobs.

Our growing CNC turning department consists of many state-of-the-art CNC lathes, and our experienced machinists have the knowledge and training to program even the most complex turning operations. The Result: accurate, precision parts.
Most of our lathes are equipped with live tooling. This convenient feature enables us to perform both milling and tapping operations on CNC lathes. For you, it means reduced costs and rapid production turnaround.

To meet your close tolerance needs, Astro Manufacturing Development offers a full range of precision grinding. Our machinists can surface grind parts up to 38" long and offer O.D / I.D grinding up to 18" in diameter.
